Because permanent adhesion of KREEM Tank Liner is possible only on a clean, oilfree surface, KREEM offers a special two-part tank preparation kit. Tank Prep A is a concentrated cleaner which dissolves rust, etches the metal surface and removes oil and grease. The concentrate is diluted 20:1 with water (a 16 oz. container makes 2-1/2 gallons of cleaner) and used to treat the tank interior for a minimum of four hours. When complete, inspection will reveal that loose rust has been removed and the tank surface has been etched to promote adhesion of the lining. Tank Prep B is a final rinse and conditioner. A brief rinse will remove any residual oil and moisture, and will prepare and condition the tank interior for the KREEM liner. Note: The KREEM treatment can begin immediately after the final conditioning. Kit includes: 1 pint (16 oz.) Part A & 1/2 pint (8 oz.) Part B solutions.
