FORGED: Wiseco s forged pistons have greater strength due to “feature aligned grain flow. Compared to products machined from billet, forged products have increased mechanical properties resulting in higher strength, durability and resistance to impact and fatigue. PRO-LITE: With dyno proven designs, the Pro-Lite series has won more champions than any other aftermartket brand. Take it from their long list of champions, forged lightweight pistons from Wiseco are what it takes to get to the winners circle. Pro-Lite piston kits are sold complete with forged pistons, wrist pins, circlips and complete top end gasket kit for a total performance package. XPS: Thermal Resistant - Provides thermal barrier against damage caused by detonation. Reduced Friction - Eliminates wrist pin galling and ring welding while offering increased ring seal. Wiseco s custom formulated aluminum alloy allows for an extremely tough, wear resistant lightweight piston that can survive the most severe race conditions. XPS pistons are sold complete with ring, wrist pin and circlips. Top end bearings and gasket kits are available for all XPS models. The best performing and most extensive in-house forging program in the business. With all these tools at their fingertips, each piston design is optimized for performance and reliability. HARD-COAT ANODIZING: The E-Coated series of pistons are the ultimate in performance and reliability. This dyno tested surface treatment reduces friction and virtually eliminates wear in critical areas of the piston, providing maximum performance. SKIRT COATING: Wiseco has added skirt coatings as a standard feature to a long list of pistons, including select snowmobile pistons. Skirt coating reduces power-robbing friction, yet promotes stability in the bore for optimum ring seal. KD RINGS: Wiseco s KD ring sets are 1.5mm thick with a 7° angle and a bore range of 55.57-98.9mm. Made from alloy steel, the rings are forrox coated and chrome faced, side notched and half-keystone. CD RINGS: Wiseco s CD ring sets are 1mm thick with a bore range of 39-77mm. Made from alloy steel, the rings are forrox coated, chrome faces and internally notched. All Wiseco pistons are priced with rings and circlips; MOST 4-cycle, PRO LITE & PRO TRU models include wrist pin. Wiseco ring types are not interchangeable (i.e., CD is not interchangeable with LC).
